ONE

my baby girl turned one yesterday! i just cant believe it. what a fun day! Gigi got here and we played and R ate her first cupcake and had a little cupcake party and stayed up late and slept with mommy and daddy (a new birthday tradition) and i think she knew it was a special day! here are a few pictures from our day....

we're so excited that all of our family will be here this weekend to not only celebrate the resurrection of our Savior but also to celebrate at Reese's birthday party :)

home sweet home

Praise the Lord we found a place to live in Columbia!! We decided for the first year or so that we'll just rent...... so with the help of my mom's sweet, dear friend we found a duplex in a great neighborhood and awesome location. I'm so glad we found a place because we have been going crazy searching online then asking our friend if it's a good location, then waiting for her to hopefully check it out, then looking at pictures and totally trusting her opinion (since we wont actually be able to go there until we move! yikes) Hopefully we'll be able to make it our home! The landlords are a sweet Christian couple and the man laughed at me when I asked if there were trees... he said, "hun, of course there are trees!!" haha I guess that's what happens when you live in west texas! he also pointed out that everyone will for sure know we're from Texas because of how many times we say yall!! I dont care where we live, Reese will say yall and yes sir, yes maam. anyway... here's our new place:

now we just have to sell our house!!! so thankful its in the Lords hands and not mine.

what a fun day to celebrate my sweet, adventurous, loving husband who turned 27 today. i couldnt be more thankful for such an incredible man to love me and lead our family. hope he felt loved today!
