We had an awesome time in Seattle {May 31st-June 2nd} We were so blessed to get to see our friends Bret & Jesse Niebruegge and their two little girls, Harper(3) and Carson(7 mo.). They are on staff with Young Life and are the sweetest family. We had a blast with them the first few days and then spent the last few days in downtown.

We went to the REI flagship store in Seattle that afternoon and drove around the area a little bit enjoying the beautiful trees, mountains, water, etc. INCREDIBLE to see God's creation. That night they made us a delicious salmon dinner at their house and the kiddos played and it was so relaxing and peaceful after a busy few days of sightseeing in Portland this was awesome! The next day we got coffee with them again and then checked into our awesome hotel in downtown. We spent the rest of the time as tourists in downtown Seattle :) Shopping, eating, walking around the markets and coffee shops and going to the flagship Nordstrom and flagship Starbucks, of course stopping at Mountain Hardware, Patagonia, etc, going up in the Space Needle... So fun! Reese was such a trooper and really seemed to enjoy checking everything out from her little seat in the orange BOB :)
We really LOVED the northwest and hope we get to go back again! What a fun, adventurous and memorable spot for family vacations. If you haven't been, you should plan a trip!! seriously.
after our time in Seattle we flew to Dallas for the night where Mark's sister, Anne Marie, let us crash at her house for a few hours before we caught our super early morning flight to Atlanta for Kristen's wedding....
